GVino Saperavi is a full-bodied, dry red wine from Georgia’s Kakheti region, crafted from the Saperavi grape. Winemaker Vakho Khutsaidze follows the traditional Kakhetian method, fermenting the wine naturally in a qvevri. The grapes undergo three weeks of maceration with skins, seeds, and 15% stems before the juice is aged for two months in a separate qvevri. Bottled with a cork and wax seal, this low-intervention wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for later.
