    Beqa Sozashvili

    David Modzgvrišvili is an experienced winemaker at Marani, possessing deep knowledge and rich experience in traditional Georgian winemaking. His passion for quality wine and commitment to ancient production methods make each bottle unique. Under his guidance, Marani winery creates exquisite wines that capture the hearts of wine lovers worldwide.

  • Mariam Zaridze, senior winemaker at Marani Winery

    Mariam Zaridze

    Senior Winemaker at the Wine Quality Control department, joined TELAVI WINE CELLAR a few years after earning her master's degree in chemistry with a specialization in the food industry. Initially starting as a chemist, she quickly realized the importance of multidisciplinary efforts in winemaking. Mariam is passionate about the diverse flavors in wine, which are derived from the grapes and the maturation process.

    Tamar Gurgenashvili

    Chief Winemaker at the Wine Quality Control department. After graduating from university, she joined TELAVI WINE CELLAR to share her family's century-long passion for winemaking.

    “Wine is the most traditional product for Georgia and Georgians, inherited from times immemorial. Now, being part of the team at TELAVI WINE CELLAR, I am proud to create fine wines based on our historical legacy.”

    Dimitri Badzoshvili

    Dimitri Badzoshvili, Senior Winemaker at the Wine Cellar, joined TELAVI WINE CELLAR as a cellar hand in 1999. He quickly proved himself to be smart and hardworking, excelling in both technical management and cellar operations.

    “I’m proud and happy to work in this winery, where winemakers and viticulturists work hand in hand with one goal: wine quality. Each new vintage brings different challenges, and facing them as a team is rewarding, especially when it results in great wine.”
