I was delighted I could find such a unique wine with an 8000 year history. May be others have bought such wine after watching the series,Drops of God, on Apple TV.

Giuaani Saperavi Qvevri 2024. Super wine. Deep, dark garnet red, almost black colour, with generous, deep, dark flavours – black cherry, black currant, crème de cassis, softer blackberry. There are tannins from the grape skins, pips and stalks, but they’re soft and gentle.
Still a very new wine but already drinking extraordinarily well. None of the acidic sharpness that seems to have become a hallmark of modern European wines. I suspect the Qvevri wine-making process has much do with this. If you’ve got the self-discipline after half a bottle, cork it up and keep in a cool dark cupboard; the wine tastes even better on the second evening.

Kindzmarauli Marani is a wonderful wine: pleasant, smooth, with a rich taste and light berry notes. It’s not overly sweet and goes down easily. I’ve bought it not for the first time — definitely a достойное wine for the price.

I love this wine it’s perfect. It’s smooth, sweet and subtle .It’s got fruity undertones which all balances with the acidity
