Giuaani Mukuzani is a dry red wine from Mukuzani, one of the most celebrated protected appellations (PDO) in Kakheti, Georgia, made from 100% Saperavi – the country's flagship red grape. Mukuzani has been made as an appellation wine since the late 19th century and is often regarded as one of Georgia's finest Saperavi reds. Expect a deep ruby-purple colour, aromas of blackberry, black cherry and plum with a touch of spice, and a full-bodied palate with firm, ripe tannins and the fresh acidity Saperavi is known for.

Serve at 16–18°C with grilled lamb, beef steak, game, mushroom dishes or mature cheeses.

About the producer: Giuaani is a family winery in the historic village of Manavi, Kakheti, where the Giuashvili family's winemaking story goes back to 1894 – the date that appears on every label. The modern winery pairs traditional Georgian methods with up-to-date equipment and has collected numerous national and international awards for its wines.
