Château Mukhrani Kindzmarauli is a naturally semi-sweet red wine made from 100% Saperavi, Georgia’s flagship red grape. Kindzmarauli is a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) in Kakheti, eastern Georgia, and the wine is crafted from grapes grown in this distinctive microclimatic zone. It forms part of the Classics range of Château Mukhrani, the historic royal estate founded in 1878 by Prince Ivane Mukhranbatoni.

Kindzmarauli is one of Georgia’s most famous wine styles: the grapes’ natural sweetness is preserved by stopping fermentation early, rather than by adding sugar. Saperavi from this zone gives a soft, elegant wine with a rich, fruity bouquet – sweet but fresh, never cloying. A perfect choice if you are new to Georgian wine or enjoy fruit-forward reds with a touch of sweetness.

Tasting notes

Deep dark red. The bouquet is fragrant and floral, with violet, juicy black cherry and dark fruit, lifted by soft black pepper. The palate is fresh and intense, with ripe dark fruit, floral notes and sweet spice, a balanced middle and a long finish.

Food pairing and serving

Serve lightly chilled at 12–14°C. Best enjoyed with blue and other mature cheeses, and also pairs well with dark-fruit and chocolate desserts, pâté, and mildly spicy dishes.
